From Pressure to Precision: Delivering five D365 Go-Lives across Eastern Europe in record time

Project overview:

Prior to the founding of Quantum Omega Group, a global pharmaceutical distributor initiated the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations across five Eastern European subsidiaries.

The objective was highly ambitious: deliver go-live readiness within one to two months per country, under strict time constraints and without margin for delay. The environment required immediate execution, with a clear focus on outcomes rather than extended design phases.

Our approach and expertise:

Daniel Thie, acting as Senior Finance Architect, took full ownership over planning and execution. The approach combined deep expertise in European financial regulations with hands-on localization knowledge, ensuring that each country’s specific compliance requirements were addressed from the outset.

Close collaboration was established with local implementation partners in each country, aligning their delivery with a centrally governed structure. The focus was on clarity, precision, and enforceable planning—removing ambiguity and ensuring that every step translated directly into progress.

Execution was driven by strict discipline and accountability. Delays were not accepted under the pretext of complexity, and all stakeholders were required to provide clear, actionable input at every stage.

By maintaining full transparency and enforcing alignment between local execution and central governance, the project avoided common pitfalls such as miscommunication, inconsistent interpretations, and uncontrolled scope changes. This created a highly focused delivery environment where decisions were made quickly and effectively.

The result?

All five subsidiaries successfully reached go-live within the targeted timelines. What is typically considered an extended rollout was executed within a compressed timeframe, without compromising compliance or operational readiness.

This outcome was achieved through structured planning, strong alignment between local and central teams, and consistent accountability across all parties involved. The result was not only speed, but controlled and predictable delivery.

This case demonstrates that accelerated ERP implementations are achievable when execution is structured and ownership is clearly defined.
