Long-term independence: A 3-Country D365 rollout that still performs years later
Project overview:
Quantum Omega Group, through its Dutch entity, delivered a full rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management for a pharmaceutical group operating across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
The scope included three countries and over 250 users, with a targeted delivery timeline of under six months—requiring both speed and precision in execution.

Our approach and expertise:
The implementation was driven by a structured methodology, combining financially accurate, business-driven data migration with deep local expertise. Rather than relying solely on technical consulting, the project leveraged finance professionals with strong regulatory knowledge, ensuring that system design aligned with real-world financial requirements.
This was reinforced by a full ownership mindset, embedded in Quantum’s operating model, where accountability and delivery discipline are central to execution.
The focus extended beyond achieving go-live. From the outset, the objective was to create a stable and self-sufficient operating environment.
This included ensuring that internal teams were fully trained and capable of managing the system independently, while processes were designed to function efficiently without continuous external intervention. The approach prioritized long-term sustainability over short-term delivery metrics.
The result?
The rollout was successfully delivered within the six-month timeframe, earning recognition from the client’s leadership as an exceptional performance. More importantly, the true success became evident over time.
Three years after go-live, the system continues to operate efficiently and without disruption. First- and second-line support are fully managed internally by the client’s IT team, while third-line support requirements toward Quantum Omega Group remain minimal.
This demonstrates not only a successful implementation, but a durable and stable solution that continues to deliver value long after project completion.
A successful ERP implementation is not defined by the go-live date, but by the system’s performance in the years that follow.
When execution is structured correctly and ownership is transferred effectively, organizations gain independence, stability, and long-term efficiency.
